Angela became a Chebucto athlete in 1985. Coached by Doug, she was a high jumper, long jumper, triple jumper, sprinter and hurdler. Angela participated in Legion Nationals and competed for Nova Scotia at Canada Games. In her four years on Dalhousie University’s track team, she won several AUS titles. When her daughter became involved in track and field, Angela began coaching and officiating to give back to the sport that provided her so many opportunities. Angela still loves to train and competes as a masters athlete under the Chebucto Athletics banner.
